What I've been doing...

Okay, I've been busy. I Received a contract to design a game for Calliope Games .

I can't say what the title is (because it hasn't been named) but

the game is part of a KickStarter project here.

There's a gameboard, cards, box art

...lots of stuff!

However they said that they don't want to leak any final art (including the gameboard).

Yet here is a collage of approved preproduction art.

I'm beyond the half-way point of the project so the Yets will be back soon!

Origins Game Fair art

I just got approval on the sketch for the commission for Origins Game Fair 2016.

The theme is, "robots".

If you are wondering about that title... this is an Ogre. 

Also here is a neat thing, I'll try to create a Timelapse gif animation of the production of this so it will look something like this:

It's been fun getting ready for San Diego!

I'll be bringing this Giclée hand signed/with remarked drawing!

it's 20x30 and it's the fist of many Giclées Yet to come!

I'll be at booth 4621 in the Illustrator's section!

Inspiration work

Bill Strickland operates an art center called the Manchester Craftsman's Guild. It's a great place for underprivileged youth. The website is here. I met him briefly and bought his biography, 

"Make the Impossible Possible: One Man's Crusade to Inspire Others to Dream Bigger and Achieve the Extraordinary"

I created this porfolio for class and inspiration.

I hope you find it inspiring too.

I made a mistake, when you said "Geek Chic" I thought....

...of this t-shirt design for  ConDor Convention in San Diego.

They still liked it.

I'm glad they have a sense of humor.
